Lofotr Disc Brooch
This disc shaped brooch is based on a viking age find from Kvalnes on the island of Vestvagoy, in the Lofoten Islands in the North of Norway. The original is housed at the Lofotr Viking Museum and has a bone cabuchon at its centre. Our version of this brooch has a glass cabuchon in red or blue.
The brooch is cast in solid pewter and weighs 43g. Its diameter is 45mm and has a depth of 16mm.
